The problem
A sale that ends “soon” gives shoppers no reason to decide today. Countdown apps fill the gap by injecting a widget, often with a timer that quietly restarts for every visitor.
The solution
Cama and PopsSaves €7/month read the end date from a Shopify metaobject, so one real deadline drives every timer on the store. Cama shows it inside an announcement bar message; Pops shows it in the announcement bar and as a countdown block you can place in any section. Change the date once and every timer follows.
How it works

Create the deadline in Shopify
In Settings → Custom data, add a metaobject definition of type countdown_timer with a date-and-time field named timer, then create an entry holding your end date.

Point the theme at it
Enter the entry’s handle in an announcement bar message, or, on Pops, in a countdown timer block.

Choose the layout
On Pops, show the numbers inline or stacked and pick their size.
Questions merchants ask
Does the timer restart for each visitor?
No. It counts down to the date stored in the metaobject, so every visitor sees the same deadline.
Can I run several countdowns at once?
Yes. Create one metaobject entry per deadline and give each timer the handle of the entry it should follow.
