The problem
Stores selling alcohol, vapes, CBD or other age-restricted goods are usually expected to gate the site. An age-gate app is one more script on every page and one more monthly bill.
The solution
PopsSaves €4/month includes an age verification popup. It opens on the first visit, asks the visitor to confirm they meet the minimum age you set, and sends anyone who declines to the page of your choice. A confirmation is remembered in a cookie for a year, so returning visitors aren’t asked again.
How it works

Enable the popup
In the theme editor, turn on the age verification popup section.

Set the minimum age
Choose the age visitors must confirm, e.g. 18 or 21.

Choose where under-age visitors go
Enter the redirect link used when a visitor says they are under age.

Is a popup enough to comply with the law?
That depends on your country and products. The popup collects a declaration; if your market requires ID checks at checkout or delivery, you need those as well.
Will it get in the way while I edit the theme?
No. It stays closed in the theme editor and only opens on the live store.
